Good day people of God, let's look at a very important yet ignored truth in the body of Christ today "the sin of disobedience" yes I called it a sin! Because it carries costly consequences

See these scriptures

Deuteronomy 11:27-28 KJV
A blessing, if ye obey the commandments of the Lord your God, which I command you this day:

[28] And a curse, if ye will not obey the commandments of the Lord your God, but turn aside out of the way which I command you this day, to go after other gods, which ye have not known.

In verse 28 it was stated that disobedience invites a curse, and the only condition for blessing here is to obey.  This is a key to triumphant living just obey and the blessings come,  and obeying God does not only bring blessings there are other things on the package..  See

Exodus 23:22 KJV
But if thou shalt indeed obey his voice, and do all that I speak; then I will be an enemy unto thine enemies, and an adversary unto thine adversaries.

Wow..  An enemy to your enemies and adversary to your adversaries all on the platform of obedience.
for every virtue in the kingdom be associated with you you most obey and when you don't obey a curse is invited

Deuteronomy 28:1-2, 15 KJV

And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of the Lord thy God, to observe and to do all his commandments which I command thee this day, that the Lord thy God will set thee on high above all nations of the earth:

[2] And all these blessings shall come on thee, and overtake thee, if thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the Lord thy God.

[15] But it shall come to pass, if thou wilt not hearken unto the voice of the Lord thy God, to observe to do all his commandments and his statutes which I command thee this day; that all these curses shall come upon thee, and overtake thee:

From verse 15 the story changed when we refuse to obey curses will come, but glory to God If we obey his blessings will come on us.

There is no serving God without obeying him and his word on every level

Job 36:11-12 KJV
If they obey and serve him , they shall spend their days in prosperity, and their years in pleasures.

[12] But if they obey not, they shall perish by the sword, and they shall die without knowledge.

Almost every where the Bible where obey is mentioned blessings follow but the consequences of not obeying follows, this shows that God does not give us instructions for his own benefit, NO! It is always for our blessing.

This is a serious matter many have lost their place in life due to disobedience.
And many can't help it they want to obey but still find themselves deep in disobedience well there is a good explanation to that let's look at this scripture

Romans 7:18 KJV
For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh,) dwelleth no good thing: for to will is present with me; but how to perform that which is good I find not.

Now there is something called the spirit that works disobedience or the spirit of disobedience according to

Ephesians 2:2 KJV
Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience:

And the best way to get rid of a spirit is not just to cast is out but a new spirit has to take its place otherwise the foul spirit comes back see

Matthew 12:43-45 KJV
When the unclean spirit is gone out of a man, he walketh through dry places, seeking rest, and findeth none.

[44] Then he saith, I will return into my house from whence I came out; and when he is come, he findeth it empty, swept, and garnished.

[45] Then goeth he, and taketh with himself seven other spirits more wicked than himself, and they enter in and dwell there: and the last state of that man is worse than the first. Even so shall it be also unto this wicked generation.

So the best way to deal with the spirit of disobedience is with the spirit of obedience in

1 Peter 1:2 KJV
Elect according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, through sanctification of the Spirit, unto obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ: Grace unto you, and peace, be multiplied.

Remember we need this spirit of obedience it's the only way out because in Bible it says..

Philippians 2:13 KJV
For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.

It is God, only God can work obedience in us.
And if we sincerely ask for this good spirit of obedience with a longing for it in our spirits it will be given to us.

My prayer today is that we be filled with the spirit of obedience to carry out all instructions in Scriptures and from heaven in Jesus Name. Amen

Good day beloved of God

I want to share this with you...
How to keep the blessings of God, both financial and otherwise, How to go up and not come down,  we understand from scriptures that the righteous is called for unending progress.

Proverbs 4:18 KJV
But the path of the just is as the shining light, that shineth more and more unto the perfect day.5

So why do we have Christians that are rich today poor tomorrow, up today down tomorrow,  because they can't seem to keep the blessings, because ever child of God is ment to be always relevant.

I will be showing us some spiritual practice that can help us hold on to the blessings,  because it is the blessings of God that makes rich.

Proverbs 10:22 KJV
The blessing of the Lord , it maketh rich, and he addeth no sorrow with it.

1. Thanksgiving and gratitude
Now this is very important, look at what the word of God said about thanksgiving.

Malachi 2:2 KJV
If ye will not hear, and if ye will not lay it to heart, to give glory unto my name, saith the Lord of hosts, I will even send a curse upon you, and I will curse your blessings: yea, I have cursed them already, because ye do not lay it to heart.

Please understand that thanksgiving, giving glory to God will stop him from cursing your blessings..  And understand that if the Thanksgiving is not heart sitted it's useless that is if it's not from the heart with all sincerity and truth, do not play with this God is no fool he can always tell the difference...

2. Tithing or paying of tithe
See I don't run a church, but. Have seen many rescued from destruction because of this spiritual practice.

Malachi 3:10-11 KJV
Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the Lord of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it .
[11] And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, and he shall not destroy the fruits of your ground; neither shall your vine cast her fruit before the time in the field, saith the Lord of hosts.

He said he will rebuke the devourer the wealth diminisher and stealer for your sake,  now that's preservation. Please if you do not want to be rich today and poor,  indigent and begging tomorrow pay your tithes this is the truth to keeping financial blessings if you don't do this diligently and delightfully you stand to loss everything one day your, possessions and blessings will be at the mercy of the devil if you don't title and trust me he has no mercy...
And tithe is just 10% if your increase and blessings, to keep the enemy away from the rest of it.

This two for now will help us not to fall from our high places an be mocked!
I pray for you today that the grace to be an active thankgiver and tither be released on us, and that we will not miss or loss the blessings of the Lord and it shall not be turned into a curse for us in Jesus name

I want to share a truth,  today many believe God has "a clock"  that he calls his time and if it's not yet time for you, you will remain in your current predicament well that is not totally true yes there is an appointed for every man
(Job 7:1 KJV
Is there not an appointed time to man upon earth? are not his days also like the days of an hireling?

Job 14:13b KJV
that thou wouldest appoint me a set time, and remember me!
)

but we should not let that be an excuse for going through certain things.

There is an appointed time but many has missed it because they think is automatic, in my definition the appointed time is when you are ready the main reason people wait for "God's time"  without results is because they have refused to grow out of there current stage in life, every time is God's time and every day is God's day
That is why the Bible says..

  (2 Corinthians 6:2 KJV
(For he saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succoured thee: behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.))  

the truth is God wants to bless you now today not tomorrow because he never changes he can't want one thing today and not want it tomorrow he will not be any more powerful tomorrow he can do all things at all times no limits to his power he is always ready to bless you that is the truth.

So why do many believers not received there blessing / answer to prayers, I will show you two reasons:

1. You are not ready for it you not God,  yes if you want something from God you have to get ready stop wasting time lamenting and crying if you put God in control let him have control, sometimes we pray and tend to try to answer our prayers ourselves because we are not ready to get ready for the answers it might sound a bit awkward but a blessing /answer to prayer you are not ready for you will never receive. 
How to get ready is simply to grow your spiritual capacity to a bigger state.

2. You have little or no faith to get it.
You always need faith and if your faith lacks proofs it's fake and you need to grow it to get what you want from God

Hebrews 11:6 KJV
But without faith it is impossible to please him : for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

To me,  growth in spiritual capacity is essentially growth in faith, today's faith won't win tomorrow's battle we have the responsibility to grow our faith until it is great faith.

You might have been praying about something and the faith you apply to it is  little, no matter how long you wait if the faith does not grow the answer will never come. 

Every miracle becomes instant when the right capacity of faith is applied check all though the acts of Jesus on earth, he will often ask if you believe and often say  "your faith has made you" this doesn't mean that because you have faith you get it,  it means because of the size of your faith you have it.

Yes faith is in sizes learn to grow your faith so it can be great,  because you won't get anything from God without faith,  stop praying for big blessings with little faith how do want to get it. 

If you want healing grow your faith you will get it, because it's God's will already,
If you want children grow your faith you will get it,  same for breakthrough of any kind just grow your faith...

Some might say I have faith already, LISTEN if the answer has not come the faith is not enough grow it so you can get results,  you CAN'T fake faith if it lacks proof it's fake.

Wah changes when you grow in faith.

>Your confidence level
>The way you talk about situations
>The way you see challenges
>Your actions and reactions to changing situations
>Your spiritual capacity

How to grow your faith...
Understand you most grow your faith in other to enjoy this Christian life..

I will show you two ways...

1. From the word of God...
Romans 10:17 KJV
So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

2. Speaking in the Holy Spirit, particularly to grow your faith....
Jude 1:20 KJV
But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost,

That is it the way to get anything from God through faith...
Hebrews 11:33-34 KJV
Who through faith subdued kingdoms, wrought righteousness, obtained promises, stopped the mouths of lions,

[34] Quenched the violence of fire,
escaped the edge of the sword, out of weakness were made strong, waxed valiant in fight, turned to flight the armies of the aliens.

As you apply this spiritual truth may you get results in Jesus name....  God bless you

I was reading a book about honor walking in honesty truth and integrity by a great minister of God's word in our time Kenneth Copeland and really while reading this book I was bit unhappy because I was taught to be respectful to give respect to elder ones buy my parents and the Nigerian society, it is a big deal to us this issue of respect I did that in my own way, I gave respect to whom it was due and once I found it not due anymore I took it away regardless of who it was this was a very wrong mind set, we were taught respect properly but no one said a thing about honor not at home not in school and not in Sunday school they were too busy teaching respect in place of honor they would read from the Bible honor your father and mother and say it commanded us to respect them well that may be part of it but honor is so vast the respect is only a very little bit of it, so until I came in contact with this book I did not really know honor I found in the words of God's servant honor not just honor but God's honor it made me to understand more about God himself....

God is so honorable in his holiness because even when man was ignorantly (in dishonor) handing over dominion to the devil in the garden of Eden he did not interfere with the process because he gave it (dominion)  to man and had to stand buy his honesty even in that situation yes man handed over dominion to the devil because it was eve that was tricked Adam was not he did it with his eyes wide open and for God to give to man back what was lost he did it the honorable way he could have just gone to the devil and took all the power back from him but that will be dishonorable so he did not, man that gave it away had to crucify his own son to give the dominion back to us again, that was the honorable way not the only way.....
And this is how God wants us to live our live on earth as his representatives to live in honor even when the situation is not at all favourable to you because only then (when you share his nature will he uphold you).... There is the honor only God can give when you honor God buy representing him honorably he will in turn honor you

1 Samuel 2:30 KJV
Wherefore the Lord God of Israel saith, I said indeed that thy house, and the house of thy father, should walk before me for ever: but now the Lord saith, Be it far from me; for them that honour me I will honour, and they that despise me shall be lightly esteemed.

and the honor God gives is the full package of Christianity, power, riches glory,

Revelation 5:12 KJV
Saying with a loud voice, Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honour, and glory, and blessing.

God is more committed to you than you will ever be to him... He is too honorable, our Christian life is like a contract with God he always plays his part always he just too honorable to cheat us out no matter the cost to him when those little kids mocked the prophet of God she-bears came to eat them up God does not hate children no it was his honor to his covenant with his prophet that got them killed because he will always do the honorable thing and stay by his word his yes is yes his no is no when Moses said if I be a prophet of God let the earth open and swallow.....  it happened even if God loved the people being swallowed so much he still did the honorable thing and confirmed the words of is servant it's that simple his too honorable to dishonor an agreement, too honorable to fail or cheat no matter the situation God will do the honorable thing and we must too...
Which means if his he says will honor you if you honor him he will sure do it because it's the honorable thing to do and he is just too honorable, so much that it is "impossible for him to lie"  

Hebrews 6:18 KJV
That by two immutable things, in which it was impossible for God to lie, we might have a strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold upon the hope set before us:

and to lie is dishonorable which means it is impossible for God to be dishonorable.

let's look at honor from the best angle
Honor is to delicate authority.  And this works both ways when we humble ourselves before God, we delegate to him authority over out lives in turn he gives us himself the whole authority of his name that is the power to become sons of God the Bible talks about, wow what a deal, what a contract, what a covenant Jesus is saying give me authority over your puny little life that I did give to you and you get authority with my name and buy my blood and get to share my father with me we become blood brothers by this blood  covenant, how generous of him, doesn't this spring up faith in you really it does....

Now just as the Bible says in

1 John 4:20-21 KJV
If a man say, I love God, and hateth his brother, he is a liar: for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen?
[21] And this commandment have we from him, That he who loveth God love his brother also.

you can't say you honor God and not honor your brother the people around you, that is not possible stop tricking yourself you can't love God and not love his creation you can't honor God  and dishonor men it does not work that way God in his word gave us a formula for this " do to others as you have them do unto you" this is the golden rule of honor. That boss of yours should be honored even his not nice still honor him, your friends, family, people around you, people you meet, people that do not like you  it really doesn't matter  honor them anyway treat them as if they were God himself because you in a covenant with him and you have to represent him well so honor every and anyone and God will in turn honor you.
Don't go doing what you want that's breaching the contract do the honorable thing... God cannot lie so I can't lie that should be you, living God's why even to your own hurt,  when you honor those against you, God takes care of them you put hot coal on their laps as the scriptures put it..

Submit your will to God and live his life he will surely bless you....
